Hello and welcome! I am Deirdre, the founder of Blue Hills Candle Co. LLC. 

I pour each candle by hand in small batches, continuously testing wax, wicks and oils to maintain the highest quality and safest standards. What began as a hobby has become a passion. When I'm not making candles, I work in immigration law. 

Nature is my inspiration for creating beautiful, clean burning candles that add ambience and natural accents to your home. Soy wax. Cotton wicks. Fragrances free from phthalates, parabens, and other toxins. Simple. Clean. Safe. 

We care about the environment and strive to be eco-friendly. All vessels can be repurposed and our packaging is recyclable. 

As the proud daughter of Irish parents, I was born in Dorchester, MA, raised in Quincy and have lived abroad in Galway, Wicklow, Belfast, Bristol and London. Now based in Milton and Hull with my husband Ryan. It's great to be back in MA.
